My name is Julia Monkevitch. I’ve been taking photos for over 10 years. Started as a hobbyist in high school, then moved on to the fashion world, specializing in selling alternative vintage and upcycled clothing. I'm a heavy mix of emo, grunge and goth, which you may notice in my art style. Visually I love dark, moody scenes that portray a lot of emotion. Working one on one with people has always been my specialty; connecting with others is something I really enjoy and value. I started event photography in 2026, and I primarily work with the underground goth, queer, and techno communities. I am driven by music and the connection of people in these places. I capture the feeling of being there.

I’m based in Northeast Florida, and work in surrounding areas. I love driving and am always open to travel. Honestly nowhere is too far for me - don’t be hesitant to ask.
